436 stainless steel is a modified steel grade of 434 that reduces the tendency to "wrinkle" during relatively stringent stretch forming operations. 430 is used as a molded product for automotive interior trim panels, and uses 434 and 436 stainless steel when better corrosion resistance is required.

Surface | Feature | Summary of manufacturing method | Application |
NO.1 | Silver white matt | A rough, matte surface that is hot rolled to a specified thickness, then annealed and descaled | Does not require surface gloss |
NO.2D | silver white | Heat treatment and pickling after cold rolling | 2D products are used for applications that do not require strict surface requirements, general materials, and deep drawing materials |
NO.2B | Gloss is stronger than NO.2D | After NO.2D treatment, the final pass is lightly cold rolled by polishing rollers | General materials |
BA | Bright as a mirror | There is no standard, but it is usually bright annealed surface processing, with high surface reflectivity. | Building materials, kitchen utensils |
NO.3 | Rough grinding | Use 100~200# (unit) grinding belt for grinding | Building materials, kitchen utensils |
NO.4 | Intermediate grinding | Polished surface obtained by grinding with 150~180# abrasive belt | Same as above |
NO.240 | Fine grinding | Grinding with 240# grinding belt | Kitchenware |
NO.320 | Very fine grinding | Grinding with 320# grinding belt | Same as above |
NO.400 | Gloss close to BA | Use 400# polishing wheel for grinding | General timber, construction timber, kitchen utensils |
HL | Hairline grinding | Grinding the hairline with the appropriate particle size abrasive material (150~240#) has a lot of grains | Buildings, construction materials |
NO.7 | Close to mirror polishing | Use 600# rotary polishing wheel for grinding | For art and decoration |
NO.8 | Mirror grinding | Mirror grinding with polishing wheel | Reflector, for decoration |
